A Note on How I Work
Your wedding is not a photoshoot. It is one of the most alive days of your life — and it deserves to be lived fully, not performed for a camera. From the moment I arrive, everything is shaped around you. Making you feel seen. Making you feel so at ease, you forget the camera is there.
The images I love most are the ones you never knew were happening — the grandparents on the dance floor who thought nobody was watching, the quiet tear before the first look, the laugh that took over the whole table.
Those are the frames that give you all the feels. And they happen because I am already there, already watching, long before the moment announces itself.
THE ARTISTIC EYE
Documentary in instinct. Editorial in craft. Each frame composed with the precision of a fashion photographer and the soul of a storyteller, images that are as visually striking as they are emotionally honest.
THE STEADY PRESENCE
From the first planning call to the last dance, every touchpoint is personal. I collaborate closely with your planner, contribute to the timeline, and arrive on your wedding day calm, prepared, and quietly joyful. A steady, intuitive presence — knowing when to step in and when to let the moment unfold.
WHO THIS IS FOR
You love good food, good wine, and celebrations that feel considered but never stiff. You dress with care. Your guest list is handpicked. You care about the experience of the people you love as much as your own — and when the music gets going, you want to be on the dance floor. A photographer who holds the vision so you can simply live every moment of your day.
“From the first meeting to the big day, Julia responded to my every question with care, made me feel as though I were her priority.”
— Amanda & Tighe
Born in Quebec, shaped by a decade in the South of France, I hold dual citizenship and bring both cultures into everything I create I photograph celebrations year-round in Montreal, Toronto, and Quebec City, and travel each season to Provence and the French Riviera. Bilingual and deeply connected to the vendors and venues that make the South of France so extraordinary.
As much at home in a Provençal château as on the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal or at a modern downtown celebration. Currently accepting inquiries for Greece and Italy.

Montreal & the South of France —
“JULIA’S EMPATHY, ATTENTION to DETAIL, and SENSE of HUMOUR KEPT EVERYONE IN GREAT SPIRITS DESPITE the POURING RAIN.”
She and Charles did an amazing job of making the two of us and our loved ones feel seen. Even though the weather was gloomy, the photos Julia captured invoke all the warmth, love, and brightness we shared on the day. We are so grateful.
“YOU TRULY WERE the MVP of our WEDDING.”
“WORKING with JULIA and HER TEAM WAS the BEST DECISION WE MADE FOR our WEDDING.”
Her heart and passion for wedding photography are felt from the second you meet her. She captured every laugh, every tear, and every quiet, serene moment with such care. We poured a glass of wine, put our phones on airplane mode, and slowly flipped through every photo. To say we were blown away would be an understatement.
From your engagement session guide, to the list of preferred vendors, to your kind presence on the day of — working with you was a dream. You managed to capture the love, happiness and absolute bliss we felt that day, and we'd choose you over and over again if we could.

The sooner the better, especially for multi-day celebrations, which ask for more of my time and planning. Most couples book twelve to eighteen months ahead. I take on a select number of weddings each year, so reach out as early as you can. That said, if your date is sooner, it is always worth asking. I will let you know what is possible.
My work lives between two worlds, documentary and editorial. I move instinctively throughout your day, catching everything that unfolds as it happens. In the portrait moments, I step in with gentle direction that feels nothing like posing. The result is a gallery that holds its color and its feeling — unmistakably, entirely yours.
Both — and intentionally so. Digital for speed, versatility, and low-light situations. Film for portraits, details, and the moments when the light is doing something particular. The edit brings everything into one seamless gallery, so the frames feel like a single body of work, whether they were captured on film or not.
Yes, travel is part of my life and my work. Based in Montreal, I regularly photograph celebrations in Quebec City, Toronto, Provence, and the French Riviera. Born in Quebec and shaped by a decade in the South of France, I hold dual citizenship and have deep roots and vendor relationships there — which makes me a particularly natural choice for couples planning destination weddings in France. Destination collections are custom, reach out and I will build a proposal around your celebration.
Yes, and beautifully so. Through your private online boutique, fine art prints, framed pieces, parent albums, coffee table books, and thank you cards — all made to the highest standard. Fully custom heirloom albums are also available, designed together and presented in their own luxury box. Depending on your collection, album options may already be included in your proposal.
Videography is not something I offer directly, but I refer trusted video teams that I already collaborate with seamlessly, so your photo and video feel like one cohesive story.
Yes, drone coverage is available as an add-on when it serves the celebration. Especially meaningful for destination weddings in Provence, along the Riviera, or anywhere the landscape is part of the story. The aerial frames are captured in the same cinematic register as the rest of your gallery, so everything feels like one seamless body of work. Ask about it when we connect, I will let you know what is possible for your venue and location.
Yes, content creation is available as part of select collections. If you want behind-the-scenes video reels, vertical Instagram-ready content, or same-day social assets captured alongside your photography, my team can weave this into your day seamlessly.
For most multi-day celebrations and full wedding days, yes — a second photographer is included, so every angle and every room is covered. For smaller events like welcome parties or morning brunches, solo coverage may apply. Your custom proposal will reflect exactly what is included.
